Invisalign® uses invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners to give you the beautiful straight teeth you've always wanted — without braces. A complimentary consultation with Dr. Jones or Dr. Dearing can determine if Invisalign® is right for you.
Invisalign® technology uses 3-D imaging software to generate a graphical representation of Dr. Jones' and Dr. Dearing's treatment plan. Throughout the treatment process, Dr. Jones and Dr. Dearing directs the Invisalign® dental laboratory to fabricate a series of aligners that correspond to each stage of calculated tooth movement.
- Patients wear each aligner for 2 weeks and continue their progress to the next stage with a new aligner.
- Invisalign® aligners are barely noticeable and completely comfortable. There are no metal wires or brackets to irritate the lips and gums.
- Removable aligners are easy to clean and allow you to enjoy the foods you love. You can also brush and floss normally to keep your mouth clean and healthy, a common challenge with traditional braces.
To make the Invisalign® for your teeth we do not need to take impressions of your mouth, but rather scan your dentition with the iTero.
iTero Scanning
The iTero Intraoral Scanner provides a precise, pain-free digital impression without the use of powder or putty-type materials. The iTero scanner allows our office to take a highly accurate, 3D image of the individual characteristics of your teeth and gum tissue. The iTero Scanner is safe, does not expose you to radiation, and uses a laser to generate the images. Comfort is key – breathe and swallow naturally during the digital 3D scan, and there is no unpleasant taste or gagging with the digital scanner.
