Every Smile Starts With An Initial Consultation
During your initial consultation, we will get to know you and the things that are important to you. You will have a chance to meet our team and get to know all the professionals who will be helping you throughout your orthodontic treatment. As a large part of our practice is comprised of children, we realize that visiting an orthodontist may seem daunting, just like visiting the dentist for the first time. That’s why we do all we can to make kids – and adults – as comfortable and at ease as possible. We go over every step of the process in detail beforehand so you and your children always know what to expect.
During your initial consultation, we will:
- Review your dental and medical history forms
- Provide a complete oral exam
- Obtain any necessary digital photographs and digital x-rays
- Create a customized treatment plan
- Review all financial information, including insurance options and payment plans

Scheduling Appointments
Orthodontic adjustments and checkups at regular intervals are an important part of your orthodontic treatment. Our practice will work with you to make sure that your appointments revolve around your busy schedule, so that you will spend less time in the dental chair and more time enjoying the things you love to do.
We understand that life is unpredictable. If you're running late or need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. When you're ready to schedule your appointments, please let us know what days and times work best for you and our scheduling coordinator will happily assist you.
Visiting The Dentist During Orthodontic Treatment
Dental checkups are crucial for maintaining good oral health. It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months during your orthodontic treatment for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups. We will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure that you are receiving the best care possible.
